Runaway Train Wall Installation in HCH Pediatric Surgical Waiting Room

Public Art Works were commissioned to create a mural based on the theme "runaway train". Installed in the waiting room, is a table top train complete with glowing buildings, bridges, moving train, and more. The model train was created as a distraction for children prior to having surgical procedures performed. The small village is animated with people and animals. In keeping with the theme, the 4' x 12' mural depicts several cars with various zoo animals painted in a series of colorful, playful patterns. The animals interact in this amusing and lighthearted rendition of a runaway train.
